Our environment is a beautiful place with vibrant color and incredible sensory experiences in the foothills of the Himalayas. We live in one of the most economically underprivileged parts of this country, where a confluence of different religions, economic backgrounds and classes make up this diverse and complex environment. Our team has deep partnerships with locals in a variety of ministries, including education, empowering locals and youth, and business startups.
We are located in one of the most unreached places in the world. However, the growing youth population is open and curious! Our local fellowship invites others to join and learn about Christ without denying their local culture and family background.
We are looking for someone to join our efforts! Teachers would allow our team to expand into new areas to develop more relationships and more opportunities to share Divine Love with those in the community.
Goers in this position would serve in an international school in the foothills of the Himalayas as an Elementary Homeroom Teacher. In our educational context, a Homeroom Teacher is appointed not only as the academic leader for a particular grade level in most core subjects in Elementary School, but also as the overall care provider for students in all areas of their growth. The relationship and role is as pastoral as academically professional. Through the course of the academic year, students spend most of their time growing and learning with their Homeroom Teacher.
Goers will fill all the roles of a Homeschool Teacher including planning, implementing, delivering, supporting and scaffolding, assessing, reporting and feedback.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to come alongside a vision, not just a job by being a part of spearheading a truly international start-up school. You will get to serve and impact a multicultural and multi-faith student and parent body by developing healthy & meaningful relationships through small classrooms with a focus on mentoring and discipleship.
