Step 3: Placement and Orientation

If you're accepted as a GoCorps goer, you'll receive an email with your 'placement assignment.' While we do our best to accommodate your preferences in the application process, your placement assignment may or may not be in your first service track preference. Whatever your placement assignment is, know that it is a result of much prayer, and many hours of learning about you and synthesizing that with the current needs on the fields overseas.

You'll have at least a week to decide if you are going to accept your GoCorps placement. Your next major step forward in the process after that is the Orientation in last week of May. The GoCorps Orientation (GO) Week is your chance to meet and worship with the other GoCorps goers from across the country. In addition, you'll receive important foundational training and importantly, this is where your fundraising process will be launched!

After a week of great fellowship, large and small group meetings, paradigm-bending teachings and lots of prayer and worship, you'll be commissioned to return home to raise up a prayer and financial partnership team.
