What is GoCorps?
GoCorps is a pathway designed to help you go overseas to serve for two years among those with the greatest need and the least opportunity of a gospel witness. If you are a student that is graduating soon, or if you're a young adult in your 20s who's not satisfied with your current job situation, you are at a perfect time to consider serving globally in a mid-term mission placment. No matter what your long term career aspirations are, your 20s are the perfect season to serve among the poor globally. Take advantage of this unique time in life!
The Roadmap
Your first step is to make the decision that you that you are open to giving two years serving overseas and to begin to pursue it.
Next, choose the track that fits you best and excites you the most. Once you've decided on a first and second choice of which track you'd like to serve on, the next step is to apply. The application process will help you discern if going overseas is the right option for you. Throughout the application process, you'll interact with GoCorps partner organizations that will help you think through your readyness and what team and location is the best fit for you.
Within two months after you apply, you should know if you've been given an overseas placement! After that, next is GoCorps Orientation Week, fundraising for 10 weeks and then training and finally getting on the plane. Whew!
