Step 5: Fundraising

The summer after you graduate will be a faith adventure as you share the vision of serving overseas with GoCorps among the least reached, and as you see God build a team around you to support, encourage and enable you to be his hands and feet the least of these.

As a GoCorps volunteer, your full time job in the summer will be to raise a prayer and financial partnership team. During orientation week, you'll be super equipped to learn to effectively and concisely share the heart and the vision behind your desire to serve with GoCorps, and we'll give you the tools you need to raise up the 40-50 people and families that will be on your prayer and financial partnership team. As such, your main goal in the summer will be to meet with at least eight people each week to share the vision of GoCorps and invite them to be involved. That's basically all there is to it.

We're confident that you'll find this step in the process the most surprising! You'll be surprised about what you learn about yourself, about God and his provision and about the vision that you're going after. 97% of those that go through the fundraising process raise their full funding within the ten week summer fundraising period!

With a team of friends and family and your church behind you, you're now ready for final preparations and to be launched. Now, it's GO-time.
