Overview: Getting from here to there
Roadmap OverviewThe GoCorps is a path that can help you go overseas to serve among those with the greatest need and the least opportunity of a gospel witness. If you are a senior that is graduating this year, or if you have recently graduated, you are probably thinking through various options of what to do when you graduate. Your first two years after graduation are the perfect time to serve among the poor globally. Take advantage of this unique time in life!
GoCorps - Your Next Step
Your first step is to volunteer and decide that you are open to giving two years serving overseas after graduation.
Next, choose the track that fits you best and excites you the most. Once you've decided on a first and second choice of which track you'd like to serve on, the next step is to apply. The application process will help you discern if going overseas is the right option for you. Throughout the application process, you'll interact with GoCorps partners that will help you think through your readyness and what the best fit for you is to serve overseas after graduation.
Within eight weeks after you apply, you should know if you've been given an overseas placement! After that, it's a whirlwind of graduation, GoCorps orientation week, fundraising for 10 weeks and then training and finally getting on the plane. Whew!
