GoCorps exists to serve campus, church and ministry leaders by providing a simplified on-ramp and a streamlined process for graduating seniors to serve overseas in mid-term missions (2 years) among the least reached and the global poor.

We’ve recognized over the years that there are some significant barriers to students and recent grads who don’t necessarily feel a career calling into missions that keeps them from going overseas and we’ve found a way to greatly reduce those barriers.  First, the application/support raising process to get overseas usually takes about 18 or more months.  For many, this makes going overseas for just two years impractical.  Also, many students get frozen by all the choices of orgs and opportunities so they never even get to the point of applying.  Finally, most graduating seniors don’t even know that serving overseas is an option.  The GoCorps model addresses these primary barriers.  However, the hurdles to serving among the least reached after graduation will seldom be overcome unless you, as a campus leader, buy in.  You are the key link to making mid-term overseas service opportunities available to your graduating seniors.
